Trails & Parks

Northern Colorado is home to some of the best-off roading trails and to some of the best indoor BMX parks. If you prefer the mountains, trails like Hall Ranch and Devils backbone might be more your style. If you prefer urban stunt riding, then places like Colorado Indoor BMX may suite you more.

Devil's backbone trailhead, Loveland CO

Devils Backbone

This is one of the most well known trails in all of Colorado as it has some of the most scenic views. However, beginners should get some experience with more intermediate trails before trying their wheels on this trail as it can be extremely challenging. The Devil's Backbone trail is 3.3 miles long and relatively steep, this trail also has a lot of rocks and exposed roots along the trail so ensure you are using off-road tires!

Hall Ranch Trail, Boulder CO

Hall Ranch

This trail is extremely popular with bikers and hikers alike! Located in Boulder/Longmont CO, it is a 9.8 mile round trip and a relatively flat trail, with enough incline to still get your heart pumping but not enough to be intimidating to beginners or intermediate riders. However, we would reccomend that you visit this trail during the week rather than the weekend as it can get extremely crowded especially when the weather is nice!

Doudy Draw to Springbrook Loop, Boulder CO

Doudy Draw to Springbrook Loop

An extremely beautiful trail that cuts through a quiet forest, this trail is about 5.0 miles long and is located in Boulder CO. It’s a favorite among locals for its peaceful atmosphere and moderate elevation gain. Expect to see wildflowers in the spring, occasional wildlife, and some great views of the Flatirons as you loop back toward the trailhead.

Colorado Indoor BMX Park, Greeley CO

Perfect for any beginner that is trying to get into the sport. This park has extremely welcoming staff and a fairly easy track to get used to, along with a casual atmosphere. There is an abundance of areas to perform tricks Additionally this is one of the only indoor BMX parks in Colorado. You can find Colorado Indoor BMX in Greeley, CO.

Spring Creek BMX Park, Fort Collins CO

Spring Creek BMX

Located in the gorgeous town of Fort Collins, this park is quite large and includes a wide range of features for riders to explore. With different sections built for various skill levels and trick styles, it’s a super versatile spot that draws a lot of experienced BMX riders. That said, it’s not the best place for beginners—some regulars can be particular about park etiquette and expect others to know how to ride safely and confidently.
